It has been a year since Ofsted visited the school, and pronounced a “Good” rating. It has been four years since the governors last compiled a parent survey. Much has changed over the past four years, not least the fact that we now find ourselves in a reduced funding situation that threatens the education of all our children.
We are interested in hearing the views of parents and carers, it is important to us that we maintain the excellent ethos and education that North School provides. We would be grateful if parents could take 5 minutes to complete an online survey to help us understand your views. The survey is available here until Sunday 2 December 2018.
North School Association look forward to welcoming you to the Christmas Bazaar on Friday 30 November. The fun starts with Santa’s arrival at 5.45pm, followed by all your favourite stalls, Santa’s grotto, the school choir and the grand raffle draw. Don’t forget to return your raffle tickets!
On Sunday 11 November the school held a special event to mark Remembrance Day and the celebrate the Unveiling of the Home Coming artwork To learn more about the project and how the artwork was made visit the We Will Remember Them website.
Friday 23 November is non-uniform day; in exchange, we ask that children bring in a small gift that may be used in the Secret Santa room at the Christmas Bazaar. To ensure that we get an even spread of gifts we ask that children donate from the list below.
- Reception and Year 4: Gifts for Her
- Year 2 and Year 6: Gifts for Him
- Year 3 and Year 5: Bottles (Bubble bath, shampoo, wine etc.) and Jars (jams, chutneys etc)
- Year 1: Sweets and Chocolate
We would also be grateful for any donations of Teddies (for the Tombola) and cakes (please bring cakes on the day).
