Following our consultation with parents earlier in the year, our nursery provision has been extended from September 2017, to offer up to 30 hours of funded nursery education to families who are eligible.
All children are offered 15 hours of funded nursery education per week (morning sessions 8.30 to 11.30am or afternoon sessions 12.30 to 3.30pm). In addition to this, eligible families can combine morning and afternoon sessions to cover the whole school day (8.30am to 3.30pm). Parents can check if they are eligible on www.childcarechoices.gov.uk.
This is an excellent opportunity to help meet the demand for good quality, teacher-led nursery education to give children a good start to their school careers.
Children are eligible for funded places the term after their third birthday. If you are looking for nursery provision for your child, please speak to the office staff for more information.
It’s non-uniform day on Friday 23 June. In exchange, we ask that children bring in a small token that may be used at the Summer Fete. To ensure that we get an even spread of gifts we ask that children donate from the list below.
- KS1: Sweets/Chocolates
- KS2: Jars/ Bottles. eg. candle in a Jar, bubble bath, coin counting jar, bath salt in a jar, wine, Jam, chutney, cake mix in a jar, cheese, cookies in a jar, sports bottle, shampoo.
Please bring the gifts with you Friday. Thank you
