The PE Premium

Since 2013-2014 every school has been given a grant to promote health, fitness and competitive sport. How this money is been spent at North is presented in the PE Premium overview.

Swimming at North

Year 5 children have swimming lessons at Colchester Leisure World. The expectation is that children should leave primary school being able to swim 25 metres. From 2018 schools have had to publish the percentage of children who met or exceeded this standard.

2018: 67%

2019: 64%

2020: COVID19 prevented lessons from taking place
