Jewellery
We strongly discourage wearing jewellery at school for a number of reasons. There are serious health and safety issues relating to the wearing of rings, earrings other than studs, bracelets and necklaces. Children wearing these items will be expected to to remove them. If they are worn for religious significance, then please inform the class teacher.

Any jewellery including studs must be removed for PE lessons. Staff are not allowed to assist children in the removal of earrings. If a child is not able to remove their earrings they will have to miss PE. If your child does wear studs they need to bring a special box or bag to school on PE days, in which to store their earrings when they remove them for PE. If they are unable to remove their earrings independently, children should not wear earrings to school on PE days.
